Paul Tasker has been one of my favourite guitar players for a good amount of years and still manages to surprise me whenever I hear him play. Earlier this year he released his wonderful first solo LP Cold Weather Music, featuring instrumentals that just might make you cry, and November will see the release of Doghouse Roses‘ equally impressive third record Lost Is Not Losing.
Earlier this year, in May to be precise, I got to visit the lovely country called Scotland again for a few days to film A New International‘s gig at St. Luke’s in Glasgow, where they performed with an 8 piece string section and the Glasgow School of Art Choir. (Watch Tenterhooks) The day after, Paul Tasker and I got our tired asses into a car and drove off north to Loch Lomond, one of my favourite places. We ended up in Balmaha on the banks of Loch Lomond and started filming there. Here’s the fruit of our labour.
Paul Tasker is playing two shows in The Netherlands this month, look at the two posters below for all the info.
