Last Friday, the 8th of January 2010, the fifth edition of Onder Invloed Amsterdam took place at the Winston, with live performances by Kim Janssen and The Hype and a five hour dj set by St Paul. A lot of people saw it live, for those who didn’t, there will be videos online later. For now, here are some photos.

Kim Janssen, also bandmember of The Black Atlantic, played an intense set of beautiful songs from his album ‘The Truth Is, I Am Always Responsible’ and covers of musicians like Damien Jurado. The Hype honoured the music of the sixties with their own songs – some of their new album, which they’re recording at the moment – and songs by The Beatles, The Who and The Kinks. They ended playing for over an hour and a half, in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
