It’s almost two months ago already, but I still have some unpublished footage shot at Into The Great Wide Open lying around, gathering dust. So before I start to sneeze, it’s time to get something off the shelves. After he played the Onder Invloed stage at the festival, Davie Lawson went to the beach, where we filmed two more songs. ‘I Caught A Bird’ is a brand new, unreleased song by Lawson, ‘Beacon Hill’ is a Damien Jurado cover. Interesting detail: Lawson discovered him by watching Jurado’s Onder Invloed session.

Davie Lawson is playing two shows in The Netherlands this coming weekend. On Saturday the 3rd of November, he’ll play at Patronaat in Haarlem, together with Big Low, Jeroen Kant, Lucie Thorne and Matt Walker. The day after, on Sunday, he’ll play a free instore show at record store Plato in Utrecht at 13.00h.
